This is a trailer dead bolt. This is made by Show Chrome and is designed to replace the pin that holds the ball on to the trailer hitch. This 1/2" locking deadbolt comes with two keys and is made in the USA. It also has a rubber cover that snaps over the lock to keep the weather out.   4-222
