This is a black driver's backrest. This is made by Utopia Products and is designed to install through the seat. The material matches the OEM seats very closely. They include a removable pouch behind the pad and the backrest tilts forward so the passenger has more room getting on and off of the bike. The pad adjusts up and down as well as tilting forward and back. This will fit all Goldwing GL1800's from 2001-2017. Yes, it will work on the models with the heated seats. Please be aware that you will be required to cut your seat in order to install this GL1800 Utopia Backrest. 18MC
