This is a chrome key insert. It is made by Add-On and is designed to replace the stock black key insert that surrounds the ignition switch. The small emblem snaps out of the factory insert and snaps into this chrome insert. There is also a small piece of double sided tape supplied to insure that it stays in place. This will fit all years of Goldwing GL1800's from 2001-2005. This will NOT fit the 2006-2017 GL1800 or F6B models. This will also NOT work on any European or Australian spec bikes. The chrome plating interferes with the H.I.S.S. system and does not allow the bike to start.  45-1404
