This is a inside mount driver's backrest. It is made by Add-On and has an adjustable tri-chrome plated mounting bracket as well as a black backrest pad that matches the seat on the GL1800s. It comes with all of the hardware required to mount it as well as a non-removable rear pouch with a flap that velcros shut. The backrest tilts forward so the passenger has more room getting on and off of the bike. This requires that you cut a small slit in your seat for the mounting bracket to go through. The bracket mounts to the underside of the seat. It will fit all 2001-2017 Goldwing GL1800s including the models with the comfort package. 18673-816K
