This is a clear windshield. This windshield is made by SlipStreamer and is designed to replace the stock windshield on your GL1100. You can choose either a stock OEM size replacement windshield or a wraparound windshield that includes sides that curve back to give the rider more protection. Neither of these windshields have vents or vent holes in them. The standard windshield measures 20 1/4" from top to bottom. They are all made of clear Lucite acrylic. They are DOT approved and will fit all years of GL1100s from 1980-1983. 55-9161, 55-9164, S-160, S-168-C
